Ladder Stabilizer Standoff Brackets with Foam Elbows (Pairs)

The Ladder Stabilizers known as the Open Rung Standouts are manufactured by Levelok. These brackets can be slid into the rungs of most ladders (rung openings of 1 inch or greater) to add stability and work around obstacles like windows. The standout brackets weigh only 1.5 pounds and are made of aluminum with foam elbows. The manufacturer's SKU for this product is ST-ORS-3.

Once inserted into your ladder, the standout brackets extend a foot beyond the edge of the ladder. It is important to note that the foam elbows are fragile and are not covered by any warranties. This material is intended for occasional use, preferably on smooth surfaces, and is easily susceptible to wear and tear, depending on how they are used and the surfaces upon which they are used. For a more durable, longer-lasting elbow material, Levelok recommends the Silicone style standoffs or the Silicone style replacement elbows.

Ladder Compatibility: The Open Rung Standouts are compatible with most aluminum and fiberglass, extension ladders with open D or O rung holes on the outside of the ladder rail. The hole must have a minimum of 1" clearance in all directions.

Standards Compliance: The Open Rung Standouts meet all ANSI and OSHA requirements for ladders up to Type 1A, 300-pound duty rating.

Installation Method: The brackets attach to the ladder rail without fasteners. To attach, press the two bracket ends towards each other, slide the ends into the rung holes, and release.

Bracket Weight: Each bracket weighs 12.3 ounces.

For heavier duty, longer-lasting elbow material, Levelok offers the ST-ORS-3XL model, which is more suitable for heavy-duty, frequent use.
